Chi si volta, e chi si gira, sempre a casa va finire. This is an Italian saying that translates to “no matter where you go or turn, you will always end up at home,” and in my life, it could not be more true. Above all, everything in my life comes down to family.
I come from a large, loving family, and we are extremely close. My parents emigrated to the United States from Italy in the 1960’s, and this essence of the classic Italian family is at the central core of my life. It is integral to how I live because despite all you can achieve and acquire, your family will be there for you until the end.
Everything, EVERYTHING revolves around family, and has since DAY 1. It is this commitment to family that has allowed me to develop a similar family-like culture for American Van Lines, and there is nothing that can rival a workplace that maintains a close-knit, trusting environment. I believe this is one of the key components to our success, because we have been able to develop a system that enables all parts to function optimally, due to a common goal of getting the job done together, as a family.
This strong sense of familial ties that has been ingrained within me, has enabled me to understand the importance of keeping family so close. I have three brothers and two sisters, and we were raised in the beautiful, peaceful setting of Coral Springs, Florida, where I remain to this day. I attended Coral Springs High School, and it was there that I met the love of my life, Gizel. We were married in 2003, and could not wait to start a family of our own. Now, 13 years later, we are the proud parents of 4 incredible, smart sons who are my purpose in life. I live for my family, and my life revolves around securing their happiness. When I am not working with American Van Lines, you bet I am spending nearly every minute with my boys and my wife.
So this is who I am, and it all comes down to one thing: my family. Family is irreplaceable, and therefore my reason for existing. It is the reason I approach my life, my work with such devotion.
